Angel crashed
J’ai découvert Kamil Vojnar sur Facebook. On y fait parfois de belles découvertes. Avec la photo d’une femme avec des ailes d’ange. Ni tout à fait femme, ni tout à fait ange. Une photo qui semblait d’un autre temps, en suspension.
Pour Kamil, quand il est derrière son objectif, il a l’impression qu’il manque quelque chose aux personnages. Les ailes comblent le vide, le manque. Comme si l’on avait envie d’être ailleurs. Les ailes sont ce passeport vers « l’ailleurs ». Sans l’avoir voulu, il commence à être connu comme un « angel-maker ».
Kamil m’a laissé le choix entre deux photos. J’ai décidé de vous les faire découvrir toutes les deux car je trouve sa démarche et sa réflexion intéressantes.
ANGEL CRASHED, 2005.
« One (ANGEL CRASHED, above) is older piece, but still one of my favorites, despite of the fact, not too many people ever liked it.
For me it always encompassed all what I was trying for in my work.
The second piece (FOR THOSE WHO DOUBT) is very recent, and to me it shows well, how far did I get since the ANGEL CRASHED.
I want to go now well beyond the angels, further, deeper. »
